Uninstallation

To completely uninstall the central server:

sudo netzmonitor uninstall

Alternatively, run sudo sh uninstall.sh from the extracted package. Deletion must be explicitly confirmed with JA. This removes the program, monitoring data, agent accounts, activation, certificates, application logs, service and dedicated Linux service account. Shared operating system packages, the system journal, external backups and separately extracted packages are retained. Before removing the installation, back up any data you want to keep.

A separately installed data collector has its own script. Run the following on its Linux server:

sudo sh /opt/netzmonitor-collector/uninstall-collector.sh

Confirm with ja in lowercase. Removing it affects the data collector service, its program, credentials, local buffer and associated Linux service account; this is separate from uninstalling the central server.
