End-to-end check after setup

Run this check using a designated test device and a deliberately configured test address:

1. Save the notification settings and verify that the test device is included in the selected device scope.

2. Check that the affected service check or additional check is initially working successfully.

3. Cause the failure to be tested in a controlled manner at the test target. Wait for the configured check intervals and any failure threshold to elapse.

4. Check the confirmed state in the device details and the delivery status under Notifications.

5. Check the received email or processing in the Qisutu add-on.

6. Restore the test target’s normal state and wait for the next successful check.

7. Check the recovery notification in the email inbox or in Qisutu.

A successful connection test does not replace this end-to-end check, because the connection test deliberately creates neither a message nor a ticket.
