Virtualization · Hyper-V detects virtual machines over WinRM HTTPS on port 5986. Prepare Windows access as described earlier, using the following for Hyper-V:

.\Windows-Einrichtung.ps1 -MonitorAddress "IP-DES-MONITORING-SERVERS" -UserName "RECHNER\monitoring" -HyperV

Enter access details and certificate trust, and run Test connection. Under Detected VMs · select those that should run continuously, select the machines that should remain running. Alternatively, enter one VM name or ID per line under These VMs must remain running. Then save.

A powered-off VM causes an operational error if it is explicitly expected to run continuously. Powered-off VMs that are not selected are displayed for information regarding their operational state. An expected VM missing from the inventory is also detected as critical. The Hyper-V check evaluates the operational and health states of the VMs.
