Deleting checks or devices

Delete device removes the device, its services and its measurement histories after confirmation. Delete service removes the individual check and its history. On the configuration page, Remove resource check removes the resource check and its history when you next save. Turning off Active, on the other hand, preserves the configuration and history.

Removing a check row from the configuration page takes effect only when you select Save all. A confirmation appears when checks are removed or the device address is changed. Groups, templates and network ranges can be removed without deleting devices or their measurement histories.
