Set up ping

1. Open Devices → Configure → Ping.

2. Switch Active on.

3. If necessary, change the Label and the expanded Check rules.

4. Click Save all.

Ping checks the device address using ICMP. This check is optional. A missing ping response does not stop web, TCP or resource checks for the same device. Such suppression only occurs when a device dependency has been explicitly configured.
