Linux log reads the target server’s systemd journal over SSH without changing it.

Enter SSH credentials and the confirmed server key. You can set a service filter under Systemd service. Period in minutes is limited to 1 to 1.440, with a default of 15. Maximum priority number selects the maximum numeric journal priority: 0 emergency, 1 alert, 2 critical, 3 error, 4 warning, 5 notice, 6 informational, 7 debug. Text to match adds a text filter.

The check shows Matching log events and an excerpt of the latest matching events. Matches produce a warning. A query is limited to the last 5.000 entries within the selected period; the result row indicates when a limit is applied. The SSH account needs read access to the journal.
