Your first monitoring setup

1. Install the program on the monitoring server and sign in to the web interface.

2. Change the initial password that was displayed.

3. Open Devices and select + Add device.

4. Enter a name and a reachable IP address or hostname.

5. Configure at least one suitable check. For example, start with a web address or Ping.

6. Select Save all and wait for the first check result.

7. Click the device name to open the details and reading history.

8. If needed, configure email or Qisutu integration under Notifications and save these settings.

A successful connection test confirms that the query works with the values you entered. Only saving applies the configuration to regular monitoring. Functions such as resources, interfaces and additional checks require suitable access to the respective target system.
