Network quality

Network quality sends a limited set of small ICMP test packets, ten per minute by default. You receive Packet loss, Average round-trip time, Shortest round-trip time, Longest round-trip time and Jitter.

ICMP must be allowed on the target. Allow at least six seconds of response timeout for 20 packets. Jitter here is the average absolute RTT difference between immediately consecutive responses. With too few usable responses, this value may be missing. This check is not a speed test and does not generate continuous traffic.
