Custom SSH check¶
Custom SSH check executes the entered Measurement command on the target using the SSH account’s permissions.
Enter SSH credentials and the confirmed server key.
Enter the Measurement command.
For a single number, leave JSON metrics (optional) empty. The entire output must then be a number.
For JSON output, add reading rows with Label, JSON path, Unit, Scale factor and optional thresholds.
Test and save.
Example of a single count: find /var/spool/myapp -maxdepth 1 -type f | wc -l, provided the SSH user can read there. Additional output text would prevent number detection. JSON uses the same path selection as HTTP / JSON. The command is actually executed; use an appropriate measurement command and the account permissions intended for it.
