Check websites and web interfaces

  1. Open Devices → Configure → Web addresses.

  2. Click + Web address.

  3. Under Web address (URL), enter a complete address, for example https://webserver.example/.

  4. Enter a Label if needed. Without a custom label, one is generated from the address.

  5. Open Check rules and define Expected HTTP codes.

  6. Leave HTTPS certificate → Check selected if the monitoring server should validate the certificate.

  7. Check Interval (s), Timeout (s) and Failure threshold.

  8. Click Save all.

The default 200-299 accepts successful HTTP responses. Individual codes and ranges can be combined using commas, for example 200,301,302. A redirect is evaluated as a response and is not followed by this simple web check. The URL must not contain embedded credentials or a # fragment.

Do not verify (self-signed) disables HTTPS certificate validation. The connection remains encrypted, but the server’s identity is not confirmed. For multiple steps, login or content validation, use Web scenario.

Under Add multiple web addresses at once, you can enter multiple URLs with one complete URL per line and add them using Add addresses. Identical addresses that already exist are not created again. You must then select Save all. Each web address has its own status and history.

A changed URL starts a new measurement series. Changes to the label or check rules retain the history.
