HTTP / JSON

HTTP / JSON reads an API response and creates custom numeric readings.

1. Select HTTP / JSON.

2. Enter the target, port, Connection, credentials if applicable, and Path.

3. Add at least one row under Measurements.

4. Test and save.

Field per reading	Meaning

JSON path	Selection of the numeric value, for example $.queue.length, $.items[0].value or $.items[*].value
Unit	Displayed unit
Scale factor	Multiplier for the value read, default 1
Warning at, Critical at	Optional upper thresholds; the warning value must be lower

Supported path selections include .feld, [0], [*] and ["feld"]. Wildcards can generate multiple measurement series; an individual JSON selection is limited to 1.000 values. Missing paths or non-numeric values are reported as missing. The response must be valid JSON with a successful HTTP status. A maximum of 100 configured reading rows is possible.
