Docker containers

Docker containers uses the protected Docker API, usually on port 2376. Docker does not need to be installed on the monitoring server for this purpose.

Enter the destination address, credentials or token and, if applicable, Client certificate (PEM) and Client key (PEM). The client certificate and key must be supplied together. Narrow the selection under Container names (blank = all). Under Containers expected to run, enter expected running containers with one per line.

The check returns container operation, restarts, available health checks, CPU, RAM, and network and disk counters. An explicitly expected container that is missing or stopped is critical. An existing Docker health check with state unhealthy is also critical. CPU can exceed 100 percent: The unit means 100 percent per core. A maximum of 100 containers per check are queried; split larger selections.
