Define the device scope

  1. Open Notifications → Which devices should trigger notifications?.

  2. In the Device scope field, select one of the two options:

    Selection

    Effect

    All devices, including devices added later

    All devices are included. Devices added later are included automatically.

    Selected device groups and devices

    Only the selected individual devices and devices in the selected groups are included.

  3. For a restricted selection, select the desired Device groups and/or Individual devices. Use Ctrl or Cmd for multiple entries. At least one group or device must be selected. The two lists complement each other: A device does not need to be selected in both lists.

  4. Leave Also report warnings enabled if state changes to Warning should also be sent. Critical states, confirmed outages, check errors and missing readings are evaluated separately. In particular, this option does not disable checks that have errors.

  5. If necessary, under Address of this monitoring interface (optional), enter the address recipients use to access monitoring, for example https://monitoring.firma.intern:8787. It is inserted as a link in emails and Qisutu events. This field changes neither the server’s bind address nor its HTTPS configuration.

  6. Configure the desired delivery channels, then click Save notification settings.

The saved selection applies from the next regular check. The connection test alone does not save any settings.
