Server address, HTTPS port and custom certificate

The server configuration is located in /var/lib/netzmonitor/config.json. By default, the interface listens on bind address 0.0.0.0 and TCP port 8787. Changes to the bind and port keys take effect after restarting the service:

sudo netzmonitor restart

Use the new port when you next access the interface in your browser. Other settings in config.json are retained.

To use a custom HTTPS certificate, replace /var/lib/netzmonitor/server.crt and /var/lib/netzmonitor/server.key with the appropriate certificate and its private key. Both must be readable by the netzmonitor service account; the private key must only be readable by that account. Then restart the service. If remote data collectors use a certificate fingerprint, its verified value must also be updated when the certificate changes.
